A small tavern is struggling to stay afloat due to the difficulty of obtaining ingredients. Domun, a young bachelor worried about making ends meet, spends each day simply trying to get by. One day, he finds a starving girl named Okbi collapsed from hunger and takes her in, offering her a warm meal.
But that night, Okbi transforms into a beautiful woman and reveals that she is an imugi on the verge of ascending to the heavens. She tells Domun that in order to become a true dragon, she needs the powerful yang energy of a human man—and makes him a secret proposal.
Afterward, Okbi brings about a bountiful catch of fish, saving the struggling tavern, while Domun gradually finds himself drawn deeper into her secrets and true feelings…
